Budget
	The Laser-Laboratorium Göttingen was founded as special-purpose enterprise by the association LLG e.V. The State of Lower Saxony contributes a relevant part to the financing in form of an institutional payment. Starting out from this basic financing, the LLG has continuously generated many third-party funds through projects of the Federal Government, DFG (German Research Association) as well as through contract research placed by the industry for many years. These third-party funds constantly amount to more than 2/3 of the total budget.
Personell Structure	Transfer of Employees
In the moment, 64 employees work in the Institute, mainly in temporary employment. 14 of these employs are working to receive their doctor's degree; the work is done in close cooperation with the Georg-August-University in Göttingen and the Technische Universität Clausthal (Clausthal University of Technology). Other education possibilities are given through the cooperation with the HAWK University for Applied Sciences and Arts in Göttingen and the Georg-August-University; Bachelor and Master students as well as trainees have the chance to do gain practical experiences in the Laser Laboratorium.	The job market has many possibilities for our employees due to close contacts to the industry built in research projects. This fact and the transfer of employees are shown below:
