UV femtosecond laser system UV-fs-vario

A UV femtosecond laser system usually comprises a Ti:sapphire front end laser as a seed pulse source. This is typically a commercially available device of renowned laser manufacturers, adapted to the requirements of the UV laser system. This means that its emission wavelength is set to 745.5 nm. The system is shipped with a compact and robust frequency tripling unit.

Regardless of the choice of the amplifier module, the system is delivered with a synchronization unit to insure long term synchronism between the seed laser and the excimer amplifier. The system specifications correspond to those of the selected amplifier modules (see UV femtosecond amplifiers).
