DPSS-Nd:YAG-Laser @ 315 nm

The pulsed DPSS-Laser FIA-UV 315 is based on a diode-pumped Nd:YAG-laser with fundamental emission at 946 nm and frequency up-conversion to 315 nm.

Pulse generation is obtained depending on the type of setup applying actively Q-switching (electrooptical Pockelscell) or passively Q-switching (saturable absorber Cr4+:YAG). For the latter version the laser medium is bonded to the saturable absorber and used as a semi-microchip.

Although the DPSS-laser is tailor-made for the fluorescence-immunoanalysis, it is possible to adapt it (pulse duration, pulse energy, repetition rate) to applications like MALDI, UV-LIF-spectroscopy or for replacement of nitrogen lasers in other applications.

Wavelength 315 nm
Pulse energy 15 µJ
Pulse duration (FWHM) < 10 ns
Repetition rate 1- 200 Hz
Pulse-to-pulse fluctuation < 1%
M² (Mx; My) 1,3 ; 1,7
